FITONE is a unique and a groundbreaking program was begun in June, 2010 and is intended for young men and women with developmental disabilities and physical challenges.

It is a heartbreaking and well known fact that young men and women with developmental disabilities do not have the same opportunities as other young men and women their age. It would be very difficult for a young man who is mildly mentally retarded or a young woman who has cerebral palsy to walk into any gym off the street and be given the chance to do weight training, weight lifting, weight loss or exercise. There would be some hesitancy on the part of the gym to serve this young man or young woman for fear of liability, injury and communication issues.
